Park N Play Design transformed this cozy neighbourhood park into a more inclusive, engaging play space—maximizing play value while respecting the client’s modest budget.
The durable playground structure offers diverse physical and sensory experiences, including multiple climbers, interactive ThunderRing® panels and bongos, double slides for side-by-side play, a Whirlwind spinner and an upgraded swing set. A modern transfer platform provides an accessible route to the double slides, while an inclusive Zero-G® swing seat supports children with varying abilities.
Designed in alignment with Annex H inclusive-play best practices, the playground encourages children across age groups to climb, explore, socialize and play together. Spinning and swinging provide valuable vestibular stimulation that can support muscle tone, balance and spatial awareness. These rhythmic movements may also offer a soothing sensory experience for neurodivergent children—while remaining exciting and enjoyable for their peers.
The result is a durable, budget-conscious neighbourhood playground that delivers more ways to play and creates meaningful opportunities for children of different ages and abilities to participate together.
