DeHart Community Park (Kelowna, BC)

Park N Play Design partnered with the City of Kelowna and Bench Landscape Architecture to bring this beautifully installed Earthscape playground to life. Designed with nature in mind, the play space features hand-crafted wood structures that encourage open-ended, imaginative, and active play.

The layout includes elevated log climbers, suspension bridges, sensory-friendly surfacing, and slides—all set on a mix of engineered wood fiber (EWF) and poured-in-place (PIP) rubber surfacing for accessibility and safety. Kids of all ages and abilities can enjoy the integrated play elements, including a basket swing, standard swings, and balancing logs.

This nature-inspired playground promotes inclusive play, motor skill development, and exploration, making it a cherished community destination in Kelowna.
