Project Details

Dalgliesh Park’s newly upgraded playground brings inclusive, imaginative, and active play to the heart of Regina. Designed for children aged 18 months to 12 years, the space features accessible play elements, engineered wood fibre surfacing, and thoughtful layout design for both gross motor and sensory development.

The playground includes two separate structures: a junior structure with a Little Foot slide for toddlers, and a senior structure featuring an 8-foot spiral slide, both with accessible routes via Transfer Platforms. Freestanding play elements like the Zero-G Chair Swing and Sensory Wave Spinning Seat support inclusive play, while climbers and overhead components offer endless opportunities for grounders and “Floor is Lava” games.

Other highlights include:

  • Standard and baby swings
  • Buck-A-Bout spring rocker
  • Sensory features at ground level
  • Hand Cycler for parallel play

With linked climbers, multiple entry/exit points, and a creative double-level structure, this playground promotes play equity and adventure for kids of all abilities.
