Eleanor Fulford Park (Elizabethtown-Kitley, ON)

Park N Play Design worked with the Township of Elizabethtown-Kitley to design, supply, and install new playground equipment and safety surfacing at Eleanor Fulford Park — all on a small budget.

The park had lost many ash trees because of the emerald ash borer, and the community wanted to bring life back to the space. With limited funds, the goal was to add equipment that gave kids as much play value as possible.

The new playground includes climbers, a slide, musical ganzas, a transfer platform, and even a little play nook under the deck with a fun seat. To make sure older kids also had something to enjoy, a freestanding overhead ladder was added for climbing and upper-body play.

Now, Eleanor Fulford Park is a lively spot where families gather, kids climb and explore, and neighbours spend more time enjoying the outdoors together.
