Project Details

Over the years, Park N Play Design Co. Ltd. has been involved in numerous community builds fostering a positive playground experience with our customers.  These projects have included but are not limited to National Parks, municipalities of all sizes, educational facilities, and private organizations. An excellent example of our commitment to the community and ability to work with volunteer groups would be the Waskesui National Park project called “Bears on the Beach”.

In 2015 Park N Play Design worked proudly with the Waskesui Foundation to create a nature-themed playground built around a life-size sculpture of a mother bear with her cubs, as well as a giant climbing tree structure.

The beachside playground was part of a beach renewal project lead by the Waskesui Foundation (a registered Charity in Saskatchewan) with Parks Canada as a proud partner.

Park N Play Design Co Ltd. was given the task of representing the natural mission statement of the Foundation with a modern and enticing playground. Donating countless hours to see the project to fruition, Park N Play Design Co Ltd. representatives were involved in planning, designing, fundraising and installing a one-of-a-kind playground.
