Accessibility: Really awesome. The ramp system goes right up to the top (and is pretty high). There is room to turn around along the way. There is accessible flooring throughout with two different colours/textures which helps with navigation.
Wheelchair accessible sway rocker, two roller slides, transfer platforms at all the slides. Quiet area with ground level features. Texture, visual and auditory features. Shaded recliner chair. 4 seater bouncer with back support. Saucer swing. Braille navigation signs.
The Hidden Valley Playground is recognized as a National Demonstration Site (NDS), meaning that it was designed using the latest evidence-based research in park design.
My kids all loved this playground. They have managed to include so many different elements in the space and the flow is great. A destination playground for sure.
