Located in Dakota Plains Wahpeton, Manitoba, this playground project was designed to create a vibrant, inclusive, and engaging outdoor space for children and families in the community. The layout incorporates a variety of play elements—climbers, slides, swings, and sensory components—offering meaningful play opportunities for children of different ages and abilities.
The design emphasizes accessibility and safety, featuring user-friendly surfacing and durable equipment built to withstand the local climate. More importantly, the playground serves as a central gathering place where families can connect, children can explore freely, and the community can enjoy a shared outdoor experience.
At Park N Play Design, we are honoured to support Dakota Plains Wahpeton First Nations in creating a space that inspires active play, connection, and long-term community well-being.
