"Bright colour, bold features and one of the coolest themed playgrounds in Edmonton – Welcome to Hazeldean Park! This epic train-themed playground features not one, but TWO great trains. The larger one stands out, both for its size, and its rainbow of colours. The smaller of the two trains is geared more toward the toddlers and offers a train whistle, and the coolest set of stairs of any playground in Edmonton (IMO!) – they look like trunks and suitcases.. This playground offers all the favourites – slides, climbers, swings (4 standard, 1 baby, 1 accessible); as well as great accessories – a supernova circle, spinners, and horse spring-riders. You can follow the train tracks around the rubber base – including up and down a raised section of the track. This playground also has THE BEST playground scavenger hunt ever – see if you can find all the gorgeous carved critters hiding in plain site around the park. The spray park here is small, but a lot of fun! It has a rainbow arch sprayer, tipping buckets, a turnable sprayer that has quite a range and some ground sprayer. There are benches and picnic tables, including a covered area and some big trees for shade. The spray park is based in concrete while the playground is based in rubber and sand."

Thanks to Jill from EdmontonPlaygrounds.net for the amazing photos and review.
