We have so much fun getting to meet so many of you creative city planners, school parent committee members, landscape architects and community members! Similarly, we feel very lucky to get to work with so many talented members within our team – so we wanted to introduce you! Each month, we feature a member of our team to help get to know us a little better.

This month, we feature our Southwestern Ontario Representative, Carissa Vaccaro. Carissa brings a fresh perspective to playground design and believes in creating customized, and thoughtful play environments for each community. She’s dedicated to her clients, giving them personalized support to help build the right fit for their play space - her goal is to make the process as stress-free as possible.

Being an advocate for inclusive play spaces, her favourite piece of equipment is the sensory dome climber. The sensory dome is a fun, freestanding play activity for children of all abilities. This climber is versatile with graduated levels of challenge and can be fitted with GT sensors to provide auditory, visual or tactile experiences that can be enjoyed by all ages and abilities!

In her spare time, Carissa enjoys travelling, spending time in nature, is an avid hot-yogi and is believer that “where focus goes, energy flows”.
